Joyce Haas has proudly contributed to the democratic process through her leadership in the Republican Party. She has volunteered on the campaigns of Republican candidates on every level - from Ronald Reagan to Rick Santorum to Tom Corbett. For more than 20 years, the GOP voters of Centre County have regularly elected her to represent them as a volunteer grassroots leader on the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee. JOYCE’S STORY

After winning an agricultural scholarship (as Pennsylvania Honey Queen), she attended Penn State, where she earned her Bachelors Degree and Masters Equivalency. Joyce lives with her husband John in Patton Township. They have a daughter, three sons, and three grandchildren. Joyce has taught in both the Bald Eagle Area and State College school districts in the fields of English, Speech, and Special Education.
