Small Business Group Endorses Joyce Haas
Joyce Haas has received another endorsement from an organization concerned about the availability of good jobs and the business environment in Pennsylvania. Having already accepted the endorsement of the Pennsylvania Business Council, Joyce has now been endorsed by the NFIB Pennsylvania SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust. With Joyce’s own extensive experience in small business ownership, she is especially pleased to be endorsed by “The Voice of Small Business.”
In accepting the endorsement, Joyce Haas said: “Simply put, small businesses make our economy go. They are vital parts of our communities and create stable, good-paying jobs. In order to get Pennsylvanians working again, we need sensible tax rates and regulations, and we need to stop the reckless deficit spending in Harrisburg. I am glad NFIB has recognized that I will be the best choice to represent the interests of our area’s small businesses and change the culture of waste at the Capitol.”
The text of the SAFE Trust endorsement letter is below:
Dear Joyce:
CONGRATULATIONS! On behalf of the NFIB Pennsylvania SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, we are pleased to announce the endorsement of your candidacy for the state House of Representatives in the upcoming General Election.
The SAFE Trust supports candidates for the General Assembly who possesses a solid understanding of the problems and priorities of small-business owners, and who demonstrate a willingness to tackle these issues in Harrisburg.
Based on your responses to our survey and the results of our candidate interview, it’s clear you share our vision that a healthy small-business jobs climate can best be achieved through lower taxes, less wasteful state spending and less government regulation. You recognize that small businesses are the driving force behind Pennsylvania’s economy — producing high-quality products, services, and jobs. And it’s also apparent that you have a clear understanding of the problems and challenges facing small-business owners in Pennsylvania. We look forward to working with your campaign for the state House.
On behalf of the NFIB/Pennsylvania, we are pleased to support your election efforts and wish you success in the upcoming General Election.
Sincerely,
Lucien Calhoun, Chairman – NFIB/PA SAFE Trust
Jan Herschkowitz, Chairman – NFIB/PA Leadership Council
