Joyce Haas has plenty of first-hand appreciation for the needs and concerns of Centre County’s sportsmen.  Joyce grew up learning proper firearms use and safety from her father and brothers.   Joyce supports “No-Net-Loss” and “Open Fields” legislation to ensure the availability of ample public space for hunting/fishing.

• Joyce supports only those hunting regulations based on practical science or public safety concerns, not politics.

• Joyce supports the extended “Castle Doctrine,” which protects your right to defend yourself and your family.

• Joyce opposes laws that take a backdoor approach to gun control by limiting availability of ammunition, including environmental extremist legislation aimed at shooting ranges like the Philipsburg Gun Club in Centre County.
